🎨 Our Vision and Craftsmanship
JMD Handicrafts was established with a vision to preserve and promote the timeless beauty of Indian handicrafts, particularly focusing on wooden and semi-antique elements. The company’s approach combines traditional aesthetics with modern functionality, creating pieces that are not only visually striking but also practical in design.
Every product reflects a careful balance of heritage-inspired artistry and skilled handwork, made possible through the hard work of a dedicated team of over 45 artisans, painters, and craftsmen. These experts bring life to wood using age-old techniques like carving, inlay work, distress finishing, and metal overlay — turning raw materials into enduring pieces of art.
🏢 Our Facility & Location
Located in the cultural city of Jodhpur, the company’s workshop and showroom are situated near the peaceful Kaylana Lake. Spread over 26,690 square feet, the workspace is filled with handpicked wooden treasures, semi-antique furniture, vintage décor, and architectural elements such as:
- Grand wooden doors
- Ceiling panels
- Carved columns
- Decorative benches and chairs
- One-of-a-kind vintage frames and wall pieces
Each piece in the collection is unique — many crafted from reclaimed or vintage wood, revived with care to retain its original character while ensuring durability and modern appeal.
🧵 A Legacy of Three Generations
What began as a single-person initiative has now grown into a family-run business, currently managed by the third generation. This continuity reflects the family’s deep respect for the craft and their unwavering commitment to excellence. The legacy is kept alive not only through products but also by passing on skills, values, and vision to younger members of the team.
JMD Handicrafts continues to expand its reach, serving clients both across India and internationally. The business maintains a strong focus on ethical practices, fair labor, and quality assurance, ensuring that every item leaving the workshop meets a high standard of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
🌍 Serving Clients Worldwide
Over the years, JMD Handicrafts has built a growing base of clients from India, Europe, the United States, and beyond. Whether it’s for private homes, retail showrooms, hotels, or interior designers, the company’s products are appreciated for their authenticity, uniqueness, and attention to detail.
