Suzuki is gearing up to refresh its best-selling scooter, the Access 125, with a tech-savvy twist. The 2025 model is all set to debut with an upgraded digital instrument cluster featuring Bluetooth connectivity, marking a significant leap in its feature set.
As the Indian two-wheeler market leans more towards smart mobility, Suzuki’s move comes at just the right time.

Bluetooth on Board: What to Expect
The biggest update in the 2025 Suzuki Access 125 is the addition of Bluetooth functionality. With this, riders can now expect features like turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and ride statistics – features commonly seen in premium scooters. While Suzuki has already introduced such tech in some of its other models like the Avenis and Burgman Street, bringing it to the Access 125 makes the scooter more competitive in the rapidly evolving 125cc segment.
Familiar Design, Smarter Features
Don’t expect a major design overhaul – Suzuki is likely to retain the Access 125’s classic and practical styling, which has been a hit among both urban and semi-urban buyers. However, the upcoming model may get minor cosmetic enhancements like new graphics, refreshed color options, and possibly LED headlamps across variants.
The addition of Bluetooth will likely be reserved for the top variant or a new special edition, while standard models may continue with the analog-digital setup.
Engine and Performance Remains Unchanged
Mechanically, the Access 125 is expected to carry forward the same 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces around 8.6 PS of power and 10 Nm of torque. It’s already BS6 Phase 2 compliant and comes with Suzuki’s Eco Performance (SEP) technology that balances performance and fuel efficiency. The engine is paired with a CVT gearbox, which is standard in the segment.
Competitive Edge in the 125cc Segment
With competitors like the TVS Jupiter 125, Honda Activa 125, and Hero Destini 125 constantly upgrading their offerings, the tech addition to the Access 125 may help Suzuki regain the edge. The 125cc scooter segment is no longer just about practicality; it’s about smart features, connectivity, and comfort.
This update will likely resonate well with urban riders who want daily commuting convenience combined with smartphone integration – something that was earlier a premium-only feature.
Expected Launch and Pricing
While Suzuki has not made an official announcement, sources suggest that the Access 125 Bluetooth variant could launch by mid-2025, possibly around June or July. The pricing is expected to see a slight bump, with the top-end variant possibly touching the ₹95,000 mark (ex-showroom). The base variants are expected to remain under ₹90,000, maintaining affordability.
