TVS Motor Company has finally revealed the delivery timeline for its much-awaited electric scooter, the TVS iQube ST, and it’s making waves in the EV space.
After a long wait, the company has confirmed that deliveries will begin starting July 2025—a development that brings clarity to potential buyers who’ve been holding out since the model’s initial unveiling in 2022.

A Delayed Arrival, But With Notable Upgrades
Originally announced alongside the standard iQube and iQube S, the ST variant was supposed to hit the roads much earlier. However, delays due to component shortages and software integration issues slowed the rollout. Now, with production challenges seemingly ironed out, TVS appears ready to deliver on its long-standing promise.
But what’s interesting isn’t just the delivery date—it’s what the iQube ST brings to the table in its final form.
Upgraded Battery Range and Dual Variants
In an update that caught attention, TVS confirmed that the iQube ST will be available in two battery configurations: 3.4 kWh and 5.1 kWh. The larger 5.1 kWh battery is expected to deliver a true range of up to 150 km (approx. 93 miles) on a single charge under real-world conditions—putting it in competition with some of the biggest EV players in the two-wheeler market.
This makes it not just a city commuter but a practical choice for slightly longer urban-suburban rides, which could be appealing to EV adopters in the U.S. who are looking for efficiency without range anxiety.
Charging time also varies between the two battery options. TVS claims the larger battery will take around 4 hours and 30 minutes to fully charge with a standard charger, while the smaller one will charge slightly faster.
Smart Features That Matter
TVS has taken a thoughtful approach with its tech features. The iQube ST gets a 7-inch touchscreen TFT display, offering navigation, live vehicle tracking, and over-the-air (OTA) updates—features that align it more with smart gadgets than traditional scooters.
There’s also voice assist, call alerts, music controls, and smartphone connectivity via the TVS SmartXonnect app. Notably, the app gives users insights into ride statistics, battery health, geofencing, and anti-theft alerts.
These features reflect the growing trend of connected mobility, where users expect their vehicles to act more like tech companions than just transport tools.
Pricing Still Under Wraps
While TVS has been transparent about specs and timelines, the official pricing for the iQube ST remains unannounced. However, insiders speculate that the scooter may fall in the $2,000 to $2,400 USD equivalent range when converted from the expected Indian price bracket.
It’s not yet confirmed if the iQube ST will make its way to international markets like the U.S., but with growing EV demand and the rise of two-wheeler commuting in urban areas, a global release could be on the cards.

Why It Matters
In a market dominated by four-wheeler EVs, the rise of feature-packed electric scooters like the iQube ST signals a shift in urban mobility preferences. The delivery update adds momentum to TVS’s strategy and may influence competitors to push similar offerings with practical range and smart integration.
As the July 2025 delivery window approaches, the industry will be watching closely. Will the iQube ST meet expectations? Can it shake up the smart scooter segment with its delayed but feature-rich entry? Time will tell.
